Dear JS3 RES pilots, owners, and valued customers,

We are pleased to confirm that, following the revision of the Emergency Airworthiness Directive (EAD), all operational restrictions on the RES system have now been lifted.

From today, 6 May 2026, and provided that all required Service Bulletin actions have been completed and properly signed off, the RES system is again approved for normal operation.

We have received confirmation from the LBA that the capability list of M&D Flugzeugbau GmbH has been updated to include the relevant modifications for the water-cooled system. This enables the release of parts with the appropriate EASA Form 1 certification and allows approved maintenance organisations to complete the Service Bulletin and return aircraft to service.

We would like to sincerely thank all owners and operators for their patience, trust, and cooperation throughout this process.
