We are honored to officially announce the winners of the Jonker Sailplanes Challenge 2022. The board has nominated the following juniors who will be competing, in less than 2 weeks’ time, at the South African Club Class Nationals in Potchefstroom (South Africa):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"????????\" Zach Yamauchi, United States of America | California<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"????????\" Niklas Hahn, Germany | Lower Saxony<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jonker Sailplanes wants to promote gliding worldwide and support young pilots in developing their soaring skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There <\/a>will be two winners each year, the junior who wins:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– the Sprint competition for Europe,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– the Sprint competition for the rest of the world excluding Namibia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration fee, aircraft, tows, and accommodation will be paid by Jonker Sailplanes (JS), travel to and from South Africa is at your own expense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award also includes a factory tour at the JS factory and a cross-country flight in a JS glider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
