Dear JS3 RES pilots, owners, and valued customers,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are pleased to confirm that, following the revision of the Emergency Airworthiness Directive (EAD), all operational restrictions on the RES system have now been lifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From today, 6 May 2026, and provided that all required Service Bulletin actions have been completed and properly signed off, the RES system is again approved for normal operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have received confirmation from the LBA that the capability list of M&D Flugzeugbau GmbH has been updated to include the relevant modifications for the water-cooled system. This enables the release of parts with the appropriate EASA Form 1 certification and allows approved maintenance organisations to complete the Service Bulletin and return aircraft to service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
